The Clarkdale chips in my opinion will make great entry level chips and HTPCs.

Uhm, you're recommending a chip with a 73W TDP for HTPCs where the AMD 4850e or AMD 5050e will do the job with a 45W TDP.

Doesn't make sense to me - step in the wrong direction. If you look at the mobile versions, I'm sure they'll have a more reasonable power draw and heat dissipation for HTPC use. (EDIT: 35W as far as I know, remains to be seen if they'll be available with a socket/mobo solution that is suitable though)

Where's the Arrandale info you're touting in the headline?

I mentioned that Arrandale was released, but as the majority of available information for now is about the Clarkdale processor, I didn't include much information about it. I mention this in my first paragraph.

As for the HTPC suggestion, it makes sense in that it allows for the removal of a discrete graphics cards, lowering power draws that way, and it easily decodes Blue Ray.
