I own a roleplaying website for anime. On this site characters all roleplay in a large world with different kingdoms and such. Now, i want to add some flare and have decided to make an interactive map. But i dont code very well. I want it to be like this one Home where you can scroll over each country and click on it taking you to what ever page. how easy is it to do this?

all i know about html is the very very very basics.

Yes, it is possible. Not as pretty as your example, but it is possible without any java or special programming. Just pure HTML code.

In HTML specification there is such tag as <map>.

So, once you have an image of your map, you can do something close to what you want with the help of software like this, or manually like this.

Check out an example (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin) from first link (at the end of the page just before the video).
