I'm running windows 7 and i recently bought a headset for use with lifechat in order to chat on skype which works great except for the fact that it is one of many usb devices. The other usb device i use often in my usb dongle to connect to the internet. The problem i now have is that my headset works brilliantly until i finish my internet session and then unplug my usb dongle(or my headset for that matter). If any usb device is removed during a single windows session then i get an interference over my headset that sounds like it receives data with slight delays at regular intervals in the sound play until i restart my computer. Is there anyway i can reset the situation without having to restart because it's really frustrating. :sleepy:

Make sure you click on "Safely remove USB device" on the task bar. That should help.
