Hello,

I've been getting random BSOD on this machine for a while now. I have already run memtest for 8 hours and the RAM all looks good. I enabled the verifier and after that Windows bombs immediately on boot, unable to log back in until I backed it out. So it looks like it might be a driver problem. I have attached the full diagnostics grab as recommended. I hope someone can point me to the the driver(s) at issue.

This is Win7 Ultimate x64, Haswell G3258, 8GB RAM, etc.

Thanks.

Hi wprecht.

You are having various bugcheck codes with blaming the memory as the probable cause. But the latest one is a bit more precise.
Code:
BugCheck D5, {fffff980014d2ffc, 0, fffff8800683025b, 0}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for ghflt.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ghflt.sys

That is a driver digitally signed with Gigabyte .... a bloatware bundled with the gigabyte motherboard's driver CD. And the install all option got it there.

I'd recommend you to http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219576-clean-up-factory-bloatware.html, with a special reference to Point #13
13. Consider a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which is often better than getting a new computer considering how pre-installed bloatware can corrupt Windows 7 even if it's completely cleaned up.
Let us know the situation after doing it.

Removing the Gigabyte crap cleared this up completely. Rock solid now going on 4 days. Thanks!
