Intermittent BSOD on new PC

Hi

I have been getting intermittent BSOD on a new PC, always restricted to a maximum of one per day.

My system details are as follows:

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 3.5 GHz
4 GB RAM
64bit OEM Windows 7

I'm running a number of much older USB devices and do wonder if it is related to these, but am having trouble reading error dumps.

Required docs have been uploaded. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

Hi,

From the software side first - out of date drivers
Code:
[font=lucida console]
[B]purendis.sys[/B] Tue Oct 28 17:31:28[B][COLOR=Red] 2008[/COLOR][/B] (490695A0) - Related to the below driver (because of similar timestamp and function)
[B]pnarp.sys [/B] Tue Oct 28 18:57:00 [COLOR=Red][B]2008[/B][/COLOR] (4906A9AC) - Pure Networks, Inc. Network Magic Address Resolution Protocol Driver
[/font]

You should either uninstall the Pure Networks software or try to find an update from here - Cisco - Network Magic Downloads

Apart from that - run Driver Verifier to see if we can find a Software cause before we look at the hardware side of things.

Thanks reventon

I imagine this relates to my Linksys (Cisco) wireless adaptor that I had a real job getting to run on the new PC. I'll hunt for a new driver and see if that sorts my problems. (have nothing installed to do with Pure Networks)

If it doesn't work I'll use Driver Verifier as suggested.

Thanks again

Mark
