Intermittent Network disconnections, DNS server not responding.

I have a problem where my internet connection will suddenly just drop out at random times, This causes a small yellow triangle to appear on the tray icon and when clicked it shows a broken connection from my router to the internet, i have to click diagnose and then half way through the process it fixes itself, a lot of the time is says that the DNS server is not responding if the diagnoses completes :sarc: this process is the same everytime it happens!

I am used a wired connection straight to the router.

Does anybody have a fix for this issue its becoming very irritating

Nothing much in the ipconfig result. Do you have any 2nd router (Dhcp) in your network? How often does this happen?

Configure a static IP, and see if you experience the issue.

Create a System Restore point - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html
Try un-installing the adapter in Device Manager and un-install driver software too when asked for. Restart PC and let Windows find the drivers.

Also in Device Manager show hidden devices and check Network Adapters section. Are there any excessive number if the same type?
