Sorry if the subject is cryptic but its about the best way to explain the issues.
basically, sometimes l could be browsing and for no reason l get DNS errors with both firefox and IE, at these times my router also becomes inaccessible when it happens.
before ppl ask it has happened with two different wireless dongles (one branded Zoom and the current branded Tenda) furthermore when it originally started l assumed it to be the dongle which is why lm using the Tenda USB adapter, the strangest part being that when it originally started l was using a different setup, lve since done a rebuild and the only things that have stayed the same is my storage hard drives (everything else is different).
now you may point fingers at my router however lm not so sure thats the culprit because l also have a laptop which doesnt suffer these issues which also connects wirelessly and l have experienced this problem while using my laptop where my system just sort of stalls wireless traffic, you may ask about security software which l shall add is pretty much the same (l use bitdefender and peerblock the only addition being there maybe a few more lists added to the affected system tho disabling doesnt seem to help when the issue occurs).
all l can say is in addition to browser issues with browsing, sometimes my IRC client will disconnect from the chat server l run (its usually open all the time) so l guess the timeout periods dont always kick in when it happens and also skype will have trouble staying connected. l have updated my drivers in the past week and it hasnt happened as much (touch wood) as it did before but its still happening what l can tell you is the adapter lm currently using is a W302U (which lve just found out is discontinued) and the driver lm using is for the chipset rather than from the makers site because l originally found it ran better than Tenda's own software as it lacked all the crap that came with it.
