Internal error while copying

my system is an assembled one. processor-intel pentium 4 cpu 2.8 GHz
RAM-1GB, system type 32 bit OS, OS-windows 7 ultimate, HDD- 2X80 GB SATA.

for the last few days whenever i'm trying to copy anything and trying to paste it anywhere in the HDD, may it be any type of content a constant error appears. the the screen shot is attached and i don't have any restore point for system recovery. pls help

You might try running sfc /scannow in an elevated command prompt to check/repair system files. See SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
