My Internet access is by satellite. My provider has a limit of 1GB download over a running 7 day period. If I exceed that, my download speed is almost as bad as dial up until the running 7 day period drops below 800MB. During the hours of 12AM to 6AM I can download at full speed and not charged against the running 7 day period.
I need to find out just what applications or services are utilizing the internet, when and how many bytes are being downloaded. I think I have set all the "check for updates" to manual but still have no idea as to why the downloading keeps exceeding the allowable value. Any suggestions for a software logger to give me the information I need?
