Internet Being *EXTREMELY* Slow

My internet is being really slow, it's not just slow but it's almost unusable. Pages take around a minute to load (which is a long time for me) and when they finally load, they're in text version (images don't load). I tried to play Battlefield 3 on my Xbox and it was unplayable. I'm not downloading anything and I can't see what the problem is. I've reset my router and I've did the usual IPConfig stuff but I'm not sure what else to do.

Any help would be much appreciated ,

have you tried contacting your isp? maybe there's a fault on your line, or at their end.
