Windows 7 build 7057 EEE 1000HE

I seem to have a situation where my wireless connection does not include my local network, so I cannot see or connect to any local computers on my network but I can connect to the internet just fine wirelessly. Of course, if I wire into the ethernet port I can see the local computers. I know I should be able to access the local computers wirelessly but I cannot seem to find the "switch" to combine local and internet access.

7057 has shoddy network support, almost everyone has problems with 7057 not showing network connections. Move up to build7068.

ha 7068 just as bloody bad for me. Running on 7077 now, hope that will fix but need to install onto desktop PC yet to see if all machines connect.

unidentified network no internet access

i have exactly the same very annoying problem---wireless goes fine
but internet via local lan 2 realtek cards give both unidentified network no internet connection---local network works----it looks like a router connected to cable modem problem----reloaded the router ucode---then it works---until the next boot
in the sitecom router dhcp is enabled---however i cannot see any assigned ip address ie 192.168.0.100 or higher
disabling and enabling thet local network adapter sometimes helps

if using a switch instead of a router,it works ok--normal detection of network---but i also need wireless connections for my laptop--so this is not a solution for me

i hope microsoft can solve this issue---because a lot of users have this problem
