Hi there,

My computer (windows 7 64bit desktop) at the office seems to be not able to connect to internet sometimes even though the cable is plugged directly into the internet port on the wall. Sometimes it works one day and then the next day when I come into office again, and it won't work.

Every time i need to do the ipconfig release and renew then it starts to work again.
I also heard that my coworker experienced the problem too when using windows 7, but the older computers running on xp never had an issue.

Does someone know is this some kind of problem that only windows 7 have?

Thanks for your help!

Hi there That guy, as it is in an office environment, does your company have any type of IT-administration?
If so i would advice you to talk him/her about the issues, as they may have more information about the issue. Like if they use different DNS configurations on the windows xp ones or always assigns the ip automatically?
Hope this helps.
