internet connection problem

Hello all, unsure if this post is in correct place but computer wont go online with gadgets enabled and then when i disable them it will connect but if i restart from that point it wont go on line again until i enable gadgets and restart again, this cycle continues so any help would be greatly appreciated regards keith.

My guess is it's related to a specific gadget.
I can't say anything for certain not knowing what you are running though.

Hello, sorry im on windows 7 home x 64, and i should have mentioned to get it online after each shut down i have to alter the tick box in msconfig under the selective start up option. The 3 technician did this and it worked so when it failed to connect the next time i just checked the box he had unchecked and all was well again however i have to do this all the time to get connected, check restart, uncheck restart the next time and so on, my first post was misleading has i dont believe its a gadget because i only have clock, calander and weather which ive had for ages regards keith.
