Internet crashes when trying to stream video.

Hi guys, I recently bought a bought a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop that came with Windows Vista Home Premium. Through Dell's Win7 upgrade program, I was able to get my hands on a free upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). Only problem is, whereas before, on Vista, I had been using the internet to regularly view streaming videos on sites such as Youtube, Veoh, etc., without any sort of regular problem, after upgrading to Windows 7, my internet freezes whenever I try to stream anything. It's extremely frustrating and I don't know what the cause could be. I have a run a virus scan with AVG, deleted my whole internet history, removed VLC Player, and updated my display drivers, but to no avail. Sometimes when I restart the computer, I can play video for a while, but soon enough, it will start to freeze up consistently as soon as I try to load a video. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The problem is that there's no Adobe Flash for x64 as of yet.

For those websites that use Flash, you'll have to use the x86 32-bit of I.E. included on your system now or download any other x32 browser. Then install the applicable Adobe Flash plugin for any browser you're using.

Hope the info helps ya.

It's always good practice to use the latest video driver available, too.

Problem solved.

Hi guys I had the same issue. I have a Hp p6280 This comes with Nvidia GeForce GT220 It has a plug for HDMI, DVI and VGA. At the beginning I plugged the computer monitor trough the DVI and used HDMI to plug a LCD TV. I have been having problems with the replay of streaming media. Internet explorer was crashing all the time. I thought it was the computer, I tried many things, changed the GPU fan, even restarting the computer with recovery nothing worked till I started plaguing just one item at the time. When I plagued only the monitor I watched a whole movie by streaming media and worked perfect. I plagued the LCD TV and again crashed of the whole computer. Then I realized there is a conflict or a voltage issue when using DVI and HDMI at the same time.
Solution I plagued The46 inch LCD TV through HDMI to watch videos and live TV, and I’m now using the VGA cable to plug the 25 inch HP monitor and everything working perfect.
Hope this is your problem and you can do the same to fix it.
