Solved Message: Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website

Lately, internet explorer will no longer connect to any website.
Current version of EI is 11.0.9600.18638
Running Windows 7 Home Premium AMD A8 Processer at 1.9 GHZ 64 Bit Processor

Sometimes the site opens briefly, but it always does a refresh and comes back to this message (Example):


We were unable to return you to youtube.com.
Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website. It appears that the website continues to have a problem.
What you can do:
Go to your home page
Try to return to youtube.com

The site never reloads


I am not really a fan of IE, but it is a 'go to' for YouTube, as well as other sites.

I have run all the AV and Malware scans, with no luck.

Completely reinstalled IE, with no luck.

I also tested by running IE11 with no add-ons, and got the same result.

Hi,
Not that I use ie11 anymore but have you tried clean boot or safe mode with networking to rule out third party utilities you have installed ?
Main issues are usually security suites which may have an issue with ie11 flaws so state which one.. you use,
Use Clean boot,
Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
Click Start and type in the search box,
msconfig
Click on the suggestion on top or hit the Enter key,
Go to the Startup section and take some screen shots for a complete list,
Go to the Services section and on the bottom left Check the box to Hide All Microsoft services,
Repeat the screen shots,

Startup and Services

I attached the images of the startup and services section as both a Word Document and PDF so they can all be on the same document
I will also try the selective startup and clean reboot

Found this on a microsoft forum.



It was posted as a solution for IE 9, but it appears to be working for me.



Under Internet Options, click the advanced tab. Under 'Accelerated Graphics', click on the checkbox next to 'Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering*'. Ensuring that it is checked, click on OK. Close Internet options.

Now open Internet Explorer 9. It should now work without any issues.
