Hello there, I have a problem with my browser. I use Chrome and for some reason it recently started to freeze or crash whenever i would open it. I've deleted all of the cookies and cache, but that still hasn't helped. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

I would first try temporarily turning off all AV on the system. See if it runs then.

You can't delete files to uninstall a program. Use Control Panel/program and features to do it. Get rid of any tune up/optimizing program too.

I would try one of the chromium snapshots. With chrome/chromium just changing a version often causes/fixes problems.

I recommend the zip file rather than mini-installer. Once you set up from a zip, save the profile folder and the folder that has the new executable. That way you can try different snapshots until you get a good one. They are much more stable than you think. It's important to save the profile folder especially because if you copy and old exe over the new there could be some new setting put in the profile by the newer version that the old version doesn't understand. If that happens you get an error about invalid option setting or something or other. I save the folders with the version number in the name to keep everything straight.

They keep moving the snapshots around. Just search terms "chromium snapshots" and you should get it.
