Hi!

I have a weird problem. I have a router, two computers are connected to it. One has XP, the other has Win 7. On my Win 7 PC sometimes I don't have internet. I mean, it looks good, it tells me I have internet access, but nothing works. I always solve it by remove, and reinstall my NIC driver (Realtek8168B) or disable, then enable it.

It's an old problem, and it gets really annoying. What can I do?

You can try two things Power cycle the modem just unplug the power cord from the back off the modem for about 15 seconds then plug it back in (this should be done on a regular basis to keep the modem functioning properly and update your drivers: Realtek
