Hey, I know i'm new here, but still need your assistance.

I recently re-installed windows on my computer, everything works except connecting to the internet. I worked out the problem to come back to the drivers being not installed. Problem is I can't find it anywhere. It comes under the drop option of "other devices" and then 3 options come down, "Ethernet controller, Multimedia controller and speedstream (my internet). They al have they yellow triangle saying not installed.

Would any of you know how to find it and install?

Edit: If it makes a difference i'm using an acer AX3950 desktop

Sorry, I did not see that they wanted money for it! Did not occur to me!

I will see if I can find a free download and get back to you........

Well, normally the drivers would be available from ACER;

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

but they don't seem to have drivers for your model, and I can't find any free downloads anywhere else.

Searching for that model at the ACER site says " The resource you requested is no longer available".

So it looks like they no longer provide the drivers for it. How old is the machine?

I recently bought it as brand new 4-5 months ago. I had the same problem at acer's site as well :s

Take the machine back to where you bought it and ask for the drivers, or a refund of your money. It is still under warranty, and is useless without drivers.

Supplying machines without drivers or any means to obtain them, except purchase from third party vendors,is just a scam in my opinion.

It appears to me that your machine AX3950 was purchased as a refurbished machine.
(or at least tiger direct is selling it as a refurbished machine)

Mike Connor gave you good advice. Ask them for the drivers or demand it be replaced or
refund your money.

I downloaded the last 2 (wireless lan ones) and put them on my computer and it didn't fix it. If I'm downloading the wrong one could you please tell which one to download?

Has the Wireless Card been replaced?
Did all the other drivers work?

The model has Win7 drivers which should work if you're installing them correctly.

You have to unzip the LAN driver package by rightclicking, then choose Extract All.

Now rightclick on Setup to Run As Adminsitrator.

What are the results?

Once you're online check optional Windows Updates repeatedly for newer drivers. Let us know if you need any other drivers after installing the Acer drivers which are missing, then Windows Updates.
