Hi Everyone,

I am using Windows 7 64 bit Service Pack 1 and I noticed a problem when updating to Internet Explorer 10 or 11. For some reason I can no longer purge IE's index.dat files using CCleaner. :(

When I am using Internet Explorer 8 or 9, CCleaner finds IE's index.dat and deletes it just fine. :D

Anyway... I am thinking that the Microsoft update to Internet Explorer 10 and 11 changes some sort of registry value or something.

Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone else experiencing this issue?

 Cricket

P.S. Being able to delete index.dat is very important to me, because I need to be able to delete index.dat on occasion when it becomes corrupted. :(
