internet explorer stops working

Hi

Yesterday I tried accessing my e-mails on Yahoo but a message came up saying explorer has stopped working with the option to check on line for a solution, clicking this option does not help as it goes straight back to explorer not working, on checking the error code I am forwarded to windows 10 terms and conditions, by the end of the evening explorer was locking up when I tried to surf the net.

would appreciate some advice, but please keep it plain and simple as I am not that good when things go wrong with computers.

What was the error code and the text of the message? What browser and version is having the problem? I assume you have another browser installed or another system you can use to trouble shoot this? Can you post a screen shot of the error message here?
