I have a windows 7 based HP laptop. I have kaspersky installed and scans regularly for viruses. Right now I have an issue with internet and I am pretty sure it is not a virus. For about a week now, my computer is losing internet connection frequently. I am getting Wifi in my iPad without any issues. So I guess internet service provided by ABC communications has nothing to do with the problem. It works for a random amount of time without issues and then issue arise. Most of the time, it reconnects soon enough, but these interruptions are affecting my work. I tried troubleshooting steps, changing cables and restoring OS. Nothing solves the issue. Is it because of a faulty modem/router, network adapter or anything else. I want to have an idea before contacting the internet service provider with the issue. Any suggestions will be helpful.
