Internet problem after upgrade

I have just upgraded from Vista to W7 and am having internet connection problems. I am using a laptop with Vodafone mobile broadband internet. When I select the internet icon I am taken to the Vodafone website and cannot get to any other site. System just keeps loading V odafone website. To fix this I have to go into the Tools/Internet Options area and under connections I delete the Vodafone connection but don't know how to add a new setting or connection. I have to do this every time I go to use the internet. This was not a problem before going to W7.
Can anyone help with this please. I am in Australia

Call Vodaphone tech support which is included in the monthly bill. They will help you get online quickly.

Hopefully someone with similar issue will reply to help you more directly.
