Internet Security software review and ranking wants to know.

My PC installed Internet security software will expire in another 20 days. I want buy new Security software suite for my PC. According to my knowledge "Eicar.org" rank and review Internet security software. So how do i view their ranking? Please give me if you know that ranking page URL. And also what are the other trusted organizations, that rank security software suite.

There are some free AVs that are pretty good, one of them being MSE. I'd check out this Thread on the topic (Most of which are free AVs): http://www.sevenforums.com/system-security/72070-whats-best-anti-virus.html.

You could also type in to Google what a good AV is. As for that particular website, I am not sure. There are other websites that give reviews, also searchable via Google.

AV Comparatives is a neutral website which tests and ranks antivirus software. PC Magazine is another very good website which reviews antivirus software. It ultimately depends on what you expect from your antivirus software and how much you are willing to spend. Also, you have to make sure that your computer fulfils the minimum system requirements specified by the antivirus software vendor.
There is no such thing as THE perfect or ideal antivirus software; I can only say that I am very happy with my Norton Internet Security 2011, which, among other things, also includes excellent customer support, but, as mentioned before, it is your choice alone

Note: If you intend to change your antivirus software, please do not install your new antivirus software (especially if it is from a different vendor) over your old antivirus software, as this can lead to flawed installations. Remove your old antivirus software beforehand and then install your new program. Most antivirus software vendors have special (free) removal tools on their websites to ensure a clean removal of their antivirus software.

If you decide to pay for an antivirus/security suite, make sure to trial it first. The most important thing is to use one that suits you and your computer.
