Good day people, I came to you guys with a normal problem on 7.
I already searched here to find a solution but all I found was made by me already.

So, let me introduce the problem:

First my specs: Both PCs are using Win 7 7100, in the machine with internet, I have an Core 2 DUO laptop, 2Gb ram and 150Gb HD, onboard ethernet, the other one, a desktop, an Quad Core, 2Gb ram and 150Gb HD, onboard ethernet, all hardware is ok in both.

I have those 2 computers, linked by a ethernet crossover cable, the laptop with an USB motorola cable modem with shared internet, and the desktop eager for some internet. The problem is that, in one moment, I finally share the files, using static IPs (192.168.0.1/192.168.0.33), but can't share the internet by any means.

I was using XP on the Desktop and I could share both internet and files, so, it means the config on laptop (the internet provider) was ok.

I am really clueless how to do this internet sharing thing and really really disapointed with how difficult is to set an network with both 7 and Vista. My God, instead simplify things they just messed up all in order to raise security and to "try" to simplify things??

I already tried HomeSharing, but not worked for me, I had password problems, or computers not finding each other.

So I am asking if someone could point me a way to try to solve this thing who drove me insane yesterday! :p

Thanks in advance

Thanks, but I already did that. That's the way I was sharing internet with the XP
Unfortunatelly it is not working on Win 7
Also, just for info, I tested the internet sharing with my XBOX360 connected to the laptop, and worked just fine.

Guess it was the dwarves on my vase who fixed while I was working :P
