I have many folders on my Desktop with files linking to websites. Suddenly, about a month ago, my internet shortcuts from the files either don't open (blank page opens), or take a long time to open, or finally open after many clicks. The standard desktop icons, i.e., My Computer, Recycle Bin, etc. open normally, altho slowly. I have IE 11 as my default browser (I double-checked). I'm current on Win Updates.
I don't think I changed anything on my pc, or added anything like new apps or progams recently. Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
