Solved internet stopped

I have checked lots of threads but can't find this one. so here it is every so often i get a message on screen saying( internet explorer as stopped working.)i can click off and go onto something else and it is ok ,until maybe 1/2 hour later it comes up again.i am on windows 7 it's a new computer.any idea's how to fix it. thanks.

Wireless? Any problems with a fixed Ethernet connection? Can u try an alternative browser such as FF?

This sounds like a system problem. Do you have any browser plug-ins installed?

Try typing "sfc /scannow"(without quotations) into an elevated command prompt.

See if any errors are reported.

1) Try resetting IE.

Close any open Internet Explorer windows, Click Start, Click Control Panel, Open Internet Options (you may have to switch from category view to icons to find this), Click the Advanced tab, Click Reset...., Click Reset, Click Close, Click OK.

2) If 1) doesnt work, then in IE go to Tools->Internet Options->Advanced Tab
Uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions".

either your network drivers or the internet browsers itself. recheck back those two

internet stopped working

To Bill2.i could'nt open these links before just got i/e stopped.tried your reset sugestion fingers crossed it might have worked.i have tried the links and other ,
pages and it has'nt come back yet. so i'll keep you posted.
