Hi all, a very Merry Christmas to you all. I hope you all got what you wanted.
I am intending to setup a mini network around my house. I currently have two PC's in my room that I want to connect via an Ethernet cable. I have also ordered a switch. Please see the diagram below followed by the references. Apologies for my lack of creativity/drawing skills.
)
Switch: 8-Port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch TL-SF1008D - Welcome to TP-LINK
Ethernet cable connecting router to switch: CSL - 15m - CAT.6 Ethernet Gigabit Lan network cable |: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
Ethernet cable connecting switch to PCs: Your everyday, bog-standard CAT5 cable.
So, I was wondering if I would be able to get internet through to PC1 and PC2 using this method.
I look forward to your responses. If you have any questions, please ask.
All the best,
Daniel
