Internet Video Buffering

Where do internet videos now buffer to? I used to find it handy to watch a video online then go to my temporary internet file in windows xp and then copy the file out. I have found the temporary internet file in windows 7 but the videos dont seem to be buffering there.

Any help would be much appreciated.

In appdata/local/temp there are files named "fla.XXX.tmp"

I think this is where the temp files are stored. I don't know where they "buffer" the "buffering" goes away when your connection si fast enough to handle the temp file is my understanding. If you're getting a lot of this, make your connection speed faster and you will probably see improvement.

If these are YouTube videos, put an OK in front of youtube (after www.)in the URL and hit Enter. Than you can download/save it - and that whilst you are watching it.

Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks for the information. Is there a way to do it in some format other than .mov?

I think they are .flv. But with Format Factory, you can convert them to anything.
