Video buffering on youtube problem

I can't figure out why, when I watch a vid on youtube, if I change it to full screen the buffering slows to a crawl. Watching them on default size or large screen I don't have any problems.

Hmmm, I guess there isn't much to be said about this issue, or that can be done. I'll just pause the vid until the buffering gets far enough ahead that I can watch without interruption.

I noticed that if you go to full screen, it goes to a higher quality by default. That could be the reason. I find that feature annoying myself.
