Internet will only load youtube and search results.

Hello all, this problem started from a couple months to about a year ago, I know it's sad but I've just kind of dealt with it, I'm finally getting around to looking for a solution. The problem is that randomly, my internet will stop working and can either load only youtube and it's videos, or google's web results. It can do that for 5 seconds or a day depending on how lucky I am. There are also moments where it says I have internet and a connection but I can't connect to anything not even youtube. Finally there are times (though rare) where I will have perfect internet that lives up to the amount paid for. This is incredibly annoying and bothersome. Now most will say to reset my router, I have... Many times. It almost seems like a placebo effect. Very rarely, resetting it will work but almost all the time it just makes it all worse. I'm not a genius when it comes to electronics do you'll have to explain everything pretty simple. Thanks.
