About 2 weeks ago I was composing an email when a yellow strip came up saying something like 'someone else is tuning in, is it you?' and advising me to change my passwords, which I did.
I found in my Google history that recently the location, instead of the usual 'UK' had become 'Scampton UK' and this applies to my other email addresses. It came up intermittently but now it is there all the time.
I changed all my passwords to more secure ones but the word Scampton is sticking to me.
I live many miles from Scampton, Lincs.
Pc scans don't produce anything and the pc hasn't noticeably slowed down.
The pc recently went into PC World to be 'cleaned up' because the cursor developed a shimmy, and everything put back, but I can't remember whether this was before or after the email problem.
I would appreciate advice.
Thanks.
