Invalid Access to Memory Location Troubled With the WMP

I've been using AVI for as long as I can remember, but today, only on my laptop with same AVI movies, after no significant software change, .avi will not run. No matter what I try I get 1 of 2 errors : you do not have permission to open this file or invalid access to memory location, or Server Execution failed.

I think maybe a windows media player problem. I tried the same avi file with FLV player, and its working.

I've been searcing anywhere, the same error messege was faced by others with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer or FLV player.

I'm running windows 7 Home Premium and on a laptop that has the right spec for it.

Please Help me.
