When I try to replace my lost files after i messed up my public documents, it says I need to replace them, even though I don't see the files. This makes me have to rename them,
example: I try to REcreate my init.txt file for a game, since i don't see it anymore.
When I try to REcreate it, computer tells me its already there, but I don't see it o.O
Is there a way to get my old init.txt file back? Or should I just ignore it and recreate it, even though I don't see the old one anymore?

Try going to the directory in a command tool window and use "attrib -h init.txt" and see if that works
