I'm always lugging a book around with me. I read a ton of fiction stuff, as well as tech books. I really wish that I had more time in each day for reading.

You could spend less time here to read more.

What you don't like Apple's new toy then you can take a look at the new one being put out by MSI at 500 clams.

The only real thing that bothers me about them is the price. Come on what good is this thing if the price is more that an EMachine or a netbook at Walmart.

i think the price on apple and msi's upcoming tablets is fair. HP's ehhh they need to come down on that a bit. people will pay for shiny new tech even if it is somewhat crippled. thats why the ipad will succeed. it doesn't have to do everything a laptop can do, it's not made for that but it has to have an enjoyable user experience and do what it's supposed to do well. a tablet like a netbook isn't a replacement to a full computer, it's a more simplified device with specific functions.

I'm just curious, there is already a lot of hate for this iPad without anyone actually having used one yet?

I didn't like the iPhone to begin with until my sister bought one....

But when she used the Dominoes Pizza ordering app and the order, and countdown timer was accurate, I thought this thing isn't so bad :roflmao:

Also to everyone calling it a giant iPhone, your dead wrong. Its a giant iPod Touch, since it has no phone feature.

Until it IS a phone, its not a giant iPhone Sure it may go through a phone company for service and has 3g, but that doesn't make it a phone now does it?
