Hey guys I need your help! Today I had a bluescreen for the first time in my life. I was watching youtube and recieved a AVG virus warning. It told me that there was an infected files in the /Temps folder. I clicked remove all unhealable files and shortly after my PC crashed. Now everytime I start up I get a Bluescreen with the IRQL_Less_or_equal error. And regardless of Safe Mode booting or hitting F8 for booting with "Last good settings" or just normal booting I still get the error. I read on some forums that the problem is either RAM or overheating. Since my PC is pretty strong I don't think the problem has to do with the RAM (and I can't run a RAM test 'cause I can't boot at all!), I opened my PC and checked the coolers and fans. I cleared 'em out so no dust blocks the vents and closed the case back and tried too boot. It didn't change anything. Help me forum!
Hi LeNger, and welcome to the forum. Sorry you are having problems. Please read this tutorial, follow the instructions and post back. We will be glad to help you. If you have to do this in the Safe mode, you will not be able to get the Perfmon report. That will be OK; we can use what we get.
Uninstall AVG. AVG is known for BSOD and third party anti virus are causing conflicts with Windows 7. Uninstall AVG and use Microsoft Security Essentials.
