I just built this rig and i get that bsod randomly it seems. ive tryed to set the IRQL to equal at 15 and it helped but i still get it from time to time. 0x000000a (0x00000000000007DD, 0x000000000000000B, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFF80002C88C6C)

I dont think it created a dmp file for the one today(re-started), but i think its the last one

I used to get BSOD's all the time, i ran memtest86 and i found errors/fails so i bought new ram(both 2x2gbsticks) and the new ones failed, so i put all ram in and they all passed. So im inclined to think that the problem is windows or drivers. Ive looked up as many drivers as i could and tryed to update but i still get them.

BF:BC2 and WoW is when i get them most, but thats what im doing most.

All the blue screens that now happen just flash now. and there are no new minidump files

The RAM you bought is it on the motherboards Qualified Vendor List? It might just have issues with motherboard you have.

Unfortunately I can't decipher minidumps, so hopefully someone who does helps you out on that front, but RAM is a funny thing, how many memtests did you run? how long were they? Just because it passes doesn't mean it's fine. But unless the place you bought the RAM from was sketchy I'm inclined to agree that it's awkward.

It could also be overheating, or a related setting for the RAM in the bios, are you over clocking your system at all?

I ran so many memtests its sick. For each brand i did every combo and ran it. it would always come up fail, usually from the start... then it would freeze. just as a joke i dumped both the OCZ and G.Skill ram in and ram memtest and it passed. ran for 1 and a half hours and it was completed, it said so on the bottom of the screen. Im sure it isnt over heating, i got a 250 mm fan hitting all 4 2gb sticks and there is room between them. i got them from newegg.com

you need to install the bios update and >> using the utility here it is made for 64 bit so there is no reason why it shouldn't work.

make sure the download is good and turn off your antivirus when you try to use the utility , start the util with a right click run as administrator and post here any error messages you get if the process won't start and we will try to help

your BugCheck D1 is normally caused by a driver or drivers using improper addresses ?

I couldn't find anything else useful in the debugger output but after you have updated your bios I suggest you run sfc /scannow (observe the space) from an elevated command prompt in order to check for driver corruption

If any of your ram sticks fail independently then you have bad ram which might run paired in memtest but will fail when you run windows ?

Got a new BSOD

This one was caused by partmgr.sys. This controls the page file in win 7.

I would run a system file check to verify system files
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and "/")

I would also run a chkdsk /r to check the HD.

Let us know the results.

Ok so i scanned for bad files and nothing, before and after bios update. However i tryed to do a check disk and it will only scanned until 2 of 5 at 11% then it freezes....
