That above is the full error i get once in a while when i am just normally browsing the web or through my files..

any help or ideas is greatly appriciated, can i just add this happened the day i received the laptop but though nothing of it.. not it happens more frequently. i do beleive it is still under the Sony Warranty so if i get no 'joy' here i'll phone them asap..

If the computer was mine I would do the above.

Be aware that attempting any subsequent hardware troubleshooting steps may, in some cases, void your warranty.

I strongly suggest that you should seek further advice asap.
