I have a brand new Dell Studio 15 running Windows 7 x64. I did a wipe and fresh install of Windows when it came in, along with installing all of the drivers.

I get the IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL BSOD only when I am in Windows and change the power source from AC to battery. It happens about 15 minutes after the change, and gives no indication ahead of time. If I shut Windows down and then switch power sources, everything seems to be fine.

I ran the Driver Verifier and it showed that all of the drivers were compatible. Attached are the files requested in a zip.

Specs:
Dell Studio 1558 Laptop
Intel Core i7 720-QM 1.6Ghz
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
4GB DDR3 RAM
Fresh Install of Windows

Thanks in advance for the help! :D

I'm thinking the problem has to do with your version of Windows 7. Apparently no symbols can be loaded for it.

Please use the Dell recovery discs and do a factory restore, and see if the problems disappear.

Maybe its just a bad disk? I'll see if I can ask my neighbor for his disk and do a clean install.

Ok. I wiped the system and used the Dell Recovery Disk to reinstall Windows (Ultimate x64). I still get the issue. After running the memory dump through Windbg, I see the following line at the end:

Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KeSynchronizeExecution+3d59 )

Some sites say that this is a hardware issue, rather than a simple driver issue?

Right now, I'm gonna run Memtest86+ on each individual stick of RAM to see if thats the issue.

From my experience that error usually means:
1. Memory Error (either fauly RAM, or incorrect settings/timings)
2. Bad Driver

Hi -

If you have installed Daemon Tools again - uninstall it.

Look at RAM closely. Your prior OS install system logs show the Windows 7 memory test failed -

Acronis may also be a problem here.

Follow Jonathan King's advice -- run the Driver Verifier.

Ok. I ran the Driver Verifier and followed the instructions. After using the system for five or six hours with it enabled, I was unable to replicate the previous blue screens.

I also looked up this issue on some other forums and found that one particular person had this exact same issue with the exact same system (Dell Studio 1558). He claimed that it was a defective Bluetooth Chip.

I have since disabled the Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth via Device Manager. So far, there have been no issues. Later tonight, I'm gonna run Memtest86+ again for a few more hours just to make sure its not the RAM. I called Dell and they will issue a complete system replacement in about two weeks, just incase it happens to be both the Bluetooth and RAM.

And thanks for all of your suggestions so far...and happy late SysAdmin Day to all at Windows 7 Forums ;)
