So u can understand that my mobo is asus m5a78l-mlx which can support max 8gb ram . I already have 4 gb & I want to install another 4gb ram , I want to know that will it make any problem if it contains 8 gb total ram ????

Can't see it being an issue. Assuming you just have 1x 4GB stick installed then yes you can just buy another 4GB stick. Ideally you want it to be the same brand, model, speed and timings as your current stick.
