Greetings.

I updated my AMD Catalyst Control Center driver from 13.9 to 14.4. I have a PowerColor Radeon HD 7850 video graphics card. I was wondering if this is a stable driver or should I just stick to the 13.9.

I would get the occasional event 4101 where in my display drivers would stop responding and would recover. Only happens when I'm playing DC Universe Online in windowed mode or even in full screen mode.

I hope the description is clear though. :) Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi, Welcome to Seven forums.

I am using CCC 14.6 Beta for my 6870 HD and till now got no issues. Infact, gaming performance has never been better.

Make sure you update the drivers properly for your card as well. Always uninstall the old drivers first. Download "Driver Sweeper". This small program removes the bits and peaces of your old drivers. Now you can install the new drivers fresh. Sometimes, installing new drivers over the new ones can cause such crashes.
