Solved Is anyone familiar with Soluto? Is there anything similar to it?

My Windows 8.1 Desktop came preloaded with Soluto. I have it on my Windows 7 laptops as well.

But, lately I have been having issues accessing my account. It says my account has been blocked by an administrator. I have already emailed them, and they said they unblocked my account. Well, guess what? They didn't.

Is there an equivalent or anything similar out there that I can use?

Help would greatly appreciated as soon as possible.

Soluto alternatives

Well the only alternatives that I've used that provide advice on items that can be removed from startup are:

ToolwizCare: Download Toolwiz Care - MajorGeeks





It will run without installation - there's an option shown when you run the setup file.


If you've got some idea of what's safe to remove/ add/ delay take a look at:

Autorun Organizer 1.31 - Advanced Autorun Manager for Windows

It's best to create a system restore point or make a system image backup before using these types of software - just in case of problems.

I don't think you need Soluto at all. I have used it once - it was a pita to get rid of it.

Well, the feature that I liked the best was that whenever my computer had a problem or if it had a BSOD then it would tell me what the BSOD was about. It also had something similar to a PC health monitor that I liked. That's why I would like to find an alternative.

You should not have BSODs in the first place. I did not have one in the last 8 years - and I have 7 computers.

Really, I haven`t had a BS since the XP days, like 100 years ago.

BSOD's

The only BSOD's I've had were down to installing Beta released of MBAM free. The driver was buggy. They fixed it now. Usually it's a driver issue and it's a question of checking the dump to find out which driver was responsible.

Well, all of my BSOD's are on here. If I ever have one, I report it to you all to analyze. I had one the other day that was caused by the NETGEAR Genie application and because my router's firmware was outdated.
