I dont think real time defragiing (always running) is a good thing, however I also think for some reason the windows defrag doesnt seem to work too well at the moment on my C: drive, an anlaysis shows 2% fragmentation but then when examining files plenty are fragmented many time sincluding the page file and on top of that the hdd was really sluggish until I did a manual defrag with defraggler. I plan to do a boot time defrag at some time to sort out the ntfs reservation zone and page file.
