The addon for Windows is seen there as well as several other sites being a Mac item. The most you would see is a possible bad install of the addon itself maybe from a bad download.

Well it is a Mac/Apple little program. How good it works with Windows 7 is the big question.

Well they came out with a Windows version the same way you see ITunes or QT as well as other cross platform variations for other programs. How well it was written to start with is another matter entirely!

The Finderbar is a little program for seeing Mac OS X style drop down menus added to the 7 task bar. It probably works much like any other small freebie going on fast and easy to remove if you decide to later. It's a customization option more or less there.

Generally you shouldn't be seeing any 404 error unless you have a problem with your browser like needing to clear out the cache and offline content or the server got timed out too fast on that particular day. I've seen that often enough where you wait for a bit and go back and all is fine.

Alright, I got it. Thanks a lot! Clearing out the history, and cache helped. Installed it and worked perfectly. Is there a way to make this run on start-up?

That's an option seen during the initial installation itself as you can see in the image attached. Once on you would look over any settings or configuration options to see that chacked off.

Here I ended up with everything but the Finder bar for some reason. A download manager, 7Zip, some unwanted IE toolbar option I unchecked, but no Finder bar option for the task bar.

What if an application shortcut,is put in startup folder in start menu?

Often the entire program folder is moved into the "C:\Program Data\Microsoft\Windows\Start menu\" location to see it start with Windows. The quick way is dragging it into the Start menu rather then browsing the two locations in order to see it mounted automatically once moved.

You can try dragging the main exe or a shortcut to the Start but just be prepared in case nothing happens as far as auto loading. You will first want to review the guide for that. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/296-start-menu-all-programs-add-delete-shortcuts.html

Notice simply adding a shortcut won't see any new additional automatically start up along with Windows. That works in the same manner as pinning a shortcut to the task bar and starting it manually from there.

The Startup folder is where you want it to go for seeing any new program(s) added to the Windows Startup list. Here's a quote how that is done in Vista and 7.

• 9 Click "Start" in the taskbar. Choose the "All Programs" option inside the open menu. A list of folders and programs will appear inside the menu. Right-click the "Startup" folder and select "Open." The Startup folder will open.
  
  
• 10 Click the "Start" button (in the taskbar) once more. Choose "All Programs" again.
  
  
• 11 Click the folder for the program you're adding to startup. The shortcut icon for that program will appear. If the icon for program you're adding to Windows startup is already visible, you can proceed to the next step.

Was referring to post #7 and was trying to be helpful.Your input made it crystalclear,on how to to do it the right way.Thats the great thing around here,wisper ABC,and you get to hear the whole alphabet.Now the guide is in the open again.

We try! The guide there however covers the bases since sometimes simply placing a shortcut may be all that is needed while with some other programs(usually much larger) you may need to move an entire folder to make it work.
