Is 'IntelCore 2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz' a good CPU ?

I currently have this CPU since 2010.. Is it still a decent CPU for present gaming? Im considering upgrading but I dont know if it is the right time.

Hey there, I've seen recently that the core2quad has become the minimum requirement processor on quite a few games now, i would say it was the perfect time to upgrade to play next gen games, Which mobo, Gpu and ram do you hae? your system specs differ from your core2quad.
