Hey guys, since i'll get new pc this week i'll also install new OS. It will be Windows 7 7264.

I was just testing a bit the ISO I downloaded with Power Iso and I'm just wondering if it is supposed to do that when I click on setup.exe. I always thought that there was some kind of autorun window supposed to show up.

Is that ok? It probably works just with boot install right?

It looks like it might be a corrupt ISO or burn, its hard to say from just the pic. Did you burn the image to a DVD at the lowest speed and check the verify data option?

Is your 7 ISO 64 or 32bit? I thought I read somewhere that you cant do a 32 to 64 bit upgrade? maybe thats the problem? If so then doing a clean install from boot would probably not be a problem.

From his info of CPU (Intel i7 920 D0 @ 3,5 ghz) I would say corrupt file. Maybe also the ISO file you burnt from.

... and your system supports only 32-bit.

His system should support a x64 OS fine. It's not letting him run the setup.exe because he's currently using a 32 bit OS and you can't run x64 applications on a x86 OS.

Or that may have been what you meant by 'system'.

Edit: And yes, it should work fine with a boot install.

Oh, sorry I did not look at your system specs b4.
You have x64 version of W7 and because you running XP 32 bit you get that error.
Just burn the ISO to a DVD and do a clean install(on a new partition if you want to keep XP in dual boot).

I don't have this PC that I have in my system specs yet. I'm getting this PC in Friday. Right now I have Pentium 4 1,8 ghz 32 bit yep.

So everything is alright and I can burn that 64x image on dvd for new system?

That ISO that is on the picture is mounted on fake drive with program Power ISO.

Right.

You can always burn it now and boot into the install on your current system if you want to test it. Just don't go any further than the partition selection stage. ;)

Ok so let me get his right. You have ordered a new pc thats 64bit and want to run Windows 7 64, right now you have a 32bit pc that you want to use to burn the ISO which is windows 7 x64 onto a DVD so that when you get your new machine you can install the 64bit windows 7 that onto that one? If you answer yes to that then you are good, burn the DVD at the lowest speed you can set your burner to and check the verify data so that the program makes sure you have a good burn. You wont be able to test the DVD on your current machine because of the DVD being 64bit and your machine being 32 bit. I hope this answers your question.
