Is it me, or did they add fan seed adjustment in open hardware monitor

I Installed the latest one today and behold, in the GPU section you can either set it default of manually change the speed % to your heart desire..or is this something new or , old that I simple did no see before. If that i the case, I apologize in advance. ->http://openhardwaremonitor.org/

You can do the same thing with MSI Afterburner.

Hey cranky, AddRam is right. With afterburner or EVGA's Precision x you can set up a fan profile, not a constant speed but where you want it at certain temps.

No need to apologize, a user can get lost with all the new improvements that come out.

It depends on what version you upgraded from.

Going over the Developer's documentation, it looks like he was getting ready to implement manual fan control in his first two releases, but it wasn't added until the 0.3.0beta release.
The next step-up for manual fan control was in the January 2012 0.4.0beta.

Even if you had 0.3.0 or 0.3.1, the support for your Nvidia GPU wasn't added until that January 2012 release.

To answer your question:
If you had moved from 0.3.0 to 0.5.1; it is something new.
If you had moved from 0.4.0 to 0.5.1; You did not see it before.
