Is it okay if an LED has a stuck pixel?

This is the exact model: ASUS MS Series MS228H Black / Blue 21.5" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 10000000 :1 (ASCR) - Newegg.com

Got a very small red pixel,or at least i think its red,its so small that i can barely make it out let alone tell the color BUT it seem's like its red and according to google,its probably stuck not dead. Will try to fix it today using Jscreenfix as i dont wana risk using any other mthods like heat or massaging it etc. Just wanted to know if getting the pixel stuck means the LED is nearing the end of its life or something? How do they happen? Any special reason?
Wouldn't even have noticed it if i wasn't looking for it. It is in the top right corner if that matters!

it doesnt sound like a stuck pixel is about to die as apparently they can become unstuck over time ,without doing anything to fix them, not always though.

Actually the particular pixel fixed itself within the next few hours. But now another stuck pixel in green color has appeared much further then the right side,near the middle. And it is quite apparent. Sticks out like a sore thumb against a black background

The pixels have a "shutter" similar to a camera and they open/close depending on the command they receive. A dead pixel will almost always be black, and that means it no longer responds to any signal received and all the shutters stay closed. A stuck pixel, which sounds like what you have, means that particular color's shutter is stuck open and will show continuously. I had a few stuck pixels in a TV and it was brand new....they were clustered around the middle of the display and I was able to return it. Nothing I did fixed any of them, no screen tests, not gently massaging/tapping the pixel....nothing. It was more irritating than anything else. Some high end monitors have a zero dead pixel warranty and they will give you another one if you have a stuck pixel, you will just have to check with the manufacturer. Having a stuck/dead pixel doesn't mean the panel is nearing the end of it's life.....it's just something that happens from time to time.

Actually i had a somewhat older and how should i put it,"less primitive" model LED until 2 days ago,used it like a horse for months,like brutally. Never had a problem. It didn't even have an HDMI port but never had a single problem. I bought this LED because it was newer,had better specs,looked nice and read it was durable but getting this pixel problem now. Anyways i contacted the shop,they said no refunds but they returned like 20$ and said keep the LED.

Will leave one of the software's on when i go to sleep for about 5 hours,if that doesn't fix then nothing will.

Hey guys, I didn't want to make a new thread for this. I bought a refurbished Samsung S24B300 led display, it has a blue stuck pixel on black backgrounds, on the lower left side. I have tried massaging and fixer softwares with no results. When using Windows, I don't notice it at all, when playing games, sometimes it pops up, it annoys me a bit. The seller would exchange it to another one, but he said the other ones had motherboard problems etc, I don't know if it would be better if I exchanged it. Should I risk it? As I said, it's not so bad, so I'll probably get used to it, but I'd prefer a perfect display of course. And does it have any chance that the pixel will fix itself over time? As I've read comments like that. Thanks for any suggestions.

Don't. The green pixel is still here on my LED and honestly i never even notice it during gaming or movies. No need to risk it IMO.
