Solved is it okay to run two separate security programs?

Intel Atom processor N455 1.66ghz is the processor speed
- 1024 MB DDR3 RAM (1066MHz)
256mb internal vid card

just wanna ask if i can run Eset Anti virus and at the same time Comodo firewall? is it okay? will there be any conflict and performance impact? thanks

The usual rule is to NOT have two antivirus programs running real time scans at the same time. Since you're talking about an antivirus program (eset) and a separate firewall (comodo) I'm guessing you'd be OK. I would, however, make sure the default Windows firewall is turned off. I'd also guess that a lot depends on how an individual computer is set up - what programs are installed, etc. People have discovered that what works on one machine can seriously bog down or even crash a different machine.

Just in case you have issues, I'd recommend creating at a minimum a System Restore point before installing eset and comodo. If you have issues you can restore your machine to that earlier configuration. Better still is to create a system image. And I don't think we can really say the comodo firewall is better than the eset antivirus. They perform separate functions.

well I can offer a case, where a windows 7 x64 computer system had the two installed simultaneously, and I have witnessed no problems nor has the computer's owner, and it had been installed for some time. I don't know for sure about any differences between the free vs. paid versions, but, I can't give you a definitive answer.

Personally I'd stick to the windows fire wall. Most after market ones tend to be resource hogs, as your system is a netbook they aren't powerful, so having 2 different resource hogging softwares running at once you'll have all your ram tied up making performance really bad.
