I have about 600 files in a folder but I need to put each one in its own folder so I can use the jukebox function on my media player. Is there any way it can be done without having to transfer each file to an individual folder one by one?

Music files?

Are you talking about mp3 files in a folder and moving them into individual folders? If yes - then I could help.

Okay well for mp3 files I use certain software but it only works with mp3.

Here's some software that works with all files:

File2Folder

You'll want file2foldergui.exe download link on the left of the page. It runs without installation so save to your desktop and run it from there.

Usage:

First copy a test folder of music files just to get an idea of how it works. So for example here's a folder named 8Track containing some mp3's and cover art that's in my Music Library which I've copied to my desktop. Then I've run File2Folder and it's moved the files into individual folders.

File2Folder.jpg

I strongly suggest making copies of any music folders before you start and that way if anything goes wrong you've still got your original file / folder structure to fall back on.
