Recently been having problems with Windows 10 and reverted back to Windows 7. However, now starting to suspect that my desktop PC is actually struggling due to its age.
It is 8 years old and I have upgraded the ram to 8 Gb and installed a new SSD drive of 2 Tb. In addition I have three other internal drives.
Most of my usage is photo editing using a variety of software but they all seem to struggle. Support from editing software companies tell me my programmes are configured OK.
Attached are some details from my system and I would value your ideas. I am not averse to replacing the whole kit as I have multiple backups of everything so am confident I will not lose anything of importance.
For instance one of the latest niggles is that typing anything there is a lag of characters on screen another is that I have to click on apps 3 or 4 times to get a response.
Thanks folks.
